Transparency – Serbia organized round table: Transparency of data on services authority organs provide to citizens as a means for preventing corruption on Thursday, 31 March 2011 in Hotel „М“, Belgrade. This gathering was officially opened by HM Ambassador of United Kingdom Michael Davenport. Representatives of independent institutions Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data, Mr Rodoljub Šabić and Deputy Ombudsman for the protection of persons deprived of their liberty, Mr Miloš R. Janković spoke about experiences of their institutions in introductory session. Also, representatives of Transparency – Serbia Nemanja Nenadić and Bojana Medenica presented „Citizens’ Charters” concept as means for curbing corruption. After finalizing first session, discussion was initiated between participants referring to their experiences in implementation and adoption of that concept. Round table was attended by representatives of international organizations, domestic non-governmental organizations, state administration organs, municipality organs, public enterprises, as well as journalists.
